Fight Back: Stop the War on Clean Energy in Ohio

Coal Pollution

You may have heard that Ohio utility giant FirstEnergy announced it will shutter four old, coal-fired units—and although this is great news, it's also a bit of a smokescreen.

Because while appearing to finally embrace the shift in America's electric landscape toward a clean energy future, FirstEnergy is also requesting that Ohio customers shoulder nearly $8.5 billion to bail out the company's burdensome coal fleet and keep its credit rating high.

You should not have to pay for their business mistakes—tell the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio to reject this bad bailout.
